Hello friends!

Heute mal wieder nur ein kleines Up-date von mir. Denn ich bin in letzter Zeit sehr busy, busy. Der V-Blog mit Cevan, für den nächste Woche noch mehr Videos geplant sind, wegen dem ich aber nicht La dolce fashion vita vernachlässigen will, genauso wenig wie die Schule, meine Freunde und meine Familie. Morgen werde ich zwei Shootings haben, eines mit meinen Blogfotografen Leon für La dolce fashion vita und eines für einen Onlinestore. Ich bin gespannt, seid ihr es auch!

For today only a little updates. It’s because I am so busy right now. I have got the V-Blog Viva la Diva! with Cevan for which we plan to shoot more videos the following week, La dolce fashion vita I don’t want to disregard, same for the school and my friends, my family…Tomorrow I am going to have two shootings, one with Leonard Leesch who is my blog photographer and one for an online store. I am curious, I hope you too!

"Viva la Diva!" Video Release!

Das Warten hat sich gelohnt, hier ist das erste Video von Viva La Diva. Seitdem Cevan und ich auf einer Geburtstagsparty beschlossen haben, einen V-blog zu gründen, ist zwar erst eine Woche vergangen, die jedoch hauptsächlich aus Planen, Organisieren und ich weiß nicht wie vielen E-Mails bestand. Allerdings hat sich der Stress ausgezahlt, denn wir konnten schon am Donnerstag unser erstes Video drehen und dafür sogar die erste Gewinnerin von Germany’s Next Topmodel, die wunderbare Lena Gercke (Cevan und ich schwärmen immer noch von ihr), interviewen. Und wir hatten das Glück beim Filmen professionelle Unterstützung vom Fotograf und Kameramann Leonard Leesch zu bekommen, was sich in der Bildqualität eindeutig niedergeschlagen hat. Aber genug geredet, wenn ihr sehen wollt, wie Cevan und ich Lena Gercke, einen „Kampfhund“ namens Stinki und sehr leckeren Snacks begegnen, schaut euch einfach das Video an. Ich bin auf eure Meinung gespannt!

Guys waiting time is over! Cevan and I proudly present you Viva la viva’s first video! Since we did the decision to create a V-blog together, only one week passed, but it was a real stressful one. I don’t have a clue how many mails I have written, but I am very happy about the result. For our first video we had the chance to interview Lena Gercke the first winner of Germany’s next top model, and we were filmed by the photographer and cameraman Leonard Leesch. Well, but I don’t want bore you with long explanations, if you want to know how we encounter Lena (Oh, we adore her!), an “attack dog” named “Stinki” and the best snacks enjoy the video! (It is only in German, but I am sure you will understand it by the context!) I am so curious for your opinion!

Viva la Diva meets Lena Gercke

Nach einer Woche Planung und viel Geheimnistuerei meinerseits ist es soweit: Mein „geheimes“ Projekt wird gelüftet: Es ist „Viva la Diva!“ der neue V-blog von mir und Cevan. Die Vorgeschichte dazu: Samstagabend saß ich mit Cevan, V-Blogger und sehr guten Freund, zusammen auf den Geburtstag von einer guten Freundin. Wir planten über ein gemeinsames Video, als wir vom Thema abkamen, zu einen talentierten, aber unsicheren Freund. Worauf Cevan sagte, dass es egal ist wie man ist, er sei auch anders als der Durchschnitt, aber er ist zu sehr eine Diva als dass ihn interessiert, was andere darüber denken. Meine Antwort „Viva la Diva!“ (es lebe die Diva, soviel Latein kann sogar ich) wurde zur Geburtstunde bzw. –Sekunde unseres V-Blogs. Warum ich euch das alles so detailliert erzähle? Ich will euch einen kleinen Eindruck vermitteln, worum es in unseren V-Blog geht, denn der Titel kann leicht falsch verstanden werden. Diva bedeutet für uns jemanden, der mit sich selbst sehr zufrieden ist und sich nicht von dem was andere sagen, stören lässt und einfach sehr viel Spaß am Leben hat.

Soviel über Viva la Diva, weiter geht es mit Lena Gercke. Denn die durften wir gestern  interviewen und ich hätte nie gedacht, dass ich so begeistert von ihr sein werde. Als Lena Gercke 2005 zu Germany’s Next Topmodel wurde, war ich 10 Jahre alt und  mit ganz anderen Dingen beschäftigt. Ich wusste zwar, wer sie ist und kannte sie von Werbespots und Kampagnen, hatte aber ansonsten keinen Bezug zu ihr. Bisher  habe ich auch eher schlechte Erfahrungen mit GNTM Kandidatinnen gemacht, bis gestern jedenfalls. Lena ist total nett, unkompliziert und hat –ich weiß wie klischeehaft das klingt, aber es trifft auf sie zu- eine total positive und natürliche Ausstrahlung. Das Interview, sowie der Rest des Videos, das übrigens von Leon gefilmt wurde, hat mir und Cevan sehr viel Spaß gemacht, davon könnt ihr euch morgen überzeugen. Ich werde das Video, sobald es hochgeladen ist, auf La dolce fashion vita posten, also zählt die Stunden!

After a week of planning and lots of secrets I can finally announce my „secret“project: It is a new V-Blog that I am doing together with Cevan! But first the story to how this came about to be: I was sitting with Cevan, a V-Blogger and very good friend of mine, at a girlfriends Birthday party. We were planning to make a video together but our conversation ended up being about a friend who was very insecure. Cevan then replied that he too was ordinary, but too much of diva to care about what people said about him. “Viva la Diva”, was my reply.That was the birth hour of our new blog Now you might be wondering why I am telling you all this in great detail. Well, I want you to understand a little bit what is blog is going to be about. For me a diva is someone who is proud of who they are and don’t let other people’s opinions bring them down. These people find happiness in just living life.Well so much to my new blog. Now, more about Lena Gercke. Yesterday I had the privilege of being able to interview her. I would have never thought that I would be so enthusiastic about her. Lena Gercke became Germany’s Next Topmodel in 2005, when I was 10 years old. I knew who she was and hat seen her in commercials, but other than that knew very little about her. Until recently I have also had a very bad experience with Germany’s Next Topmodel candidates. Lena is friendly, practical and, (I know this sounds like a cliché, but it’s true) has a totally natural and positive aura about her. The holding the interview and producing the video (filmed by Leon by the way) was very exciting and fun for Cevan and me. Tomorrow you can take a look at it yourself. So start counting the hours!

Du bist die Mode!

Ich habe schon angekündigt einen dritten und letzten Post zu „Du bist die Mode“ bzw. „La mode c est vous!“ zu machen in dem ich eigentlich euch das Video zeigen wollte. Aber da ich in dem Post auch schreiben wollte, wie ich mich dabei gefühlt habe, passt dass zu heute: Natürlich war ich aufgeregt. Wir müssen ja nicht so tun als ob. Ich war nicht aufgeregt, als ich um 14 Uhr in den Galeries Lafayette erschien, noch viel weniger als ich von der lieben Isabella geschminkt wurde, und auch nicht als mir abschließend die Haare gemacht wurden. Übrigens fand das Styling mitten in den Galeries Lafayette statt. In der langen Wartezeit die ich mit Marie verbracht habe, war ich auch noch nicht aufgeregt. Aufgeregt wurde ich als wir hinausgingen und fast eine Stunde in dem „Backstagebereich“ (der einfach ein abgetrennter Teil von der Friedrichsstraße war) warten mussten. Zuerst war mir nur superkalt in meinen grünen Kleid, darum verbrachte ich einen Teil der Wartezeit in der beheizten Leiser Filiale gegenüber. Aber als ich dann ca. 20 Minuten vor Beginn der Show zu den anderen zurückkam, steckte mich die Aufregung der anderen an. Doch dann entdeckte ich das meine Freunde und Familie gekommen waren, und war darüber so gerührt, dass ich jede Aufregung vergaß und mich auf den Catwalk nach meiner kleinen Schwester umdrehte, die mich filmte. Wirklich aufgeregt bin ich was mein neues Projekt angeht. Ich will noch ein bisschen Spannung erzeugen darum verrate ich es nur soviel: Ebenfalls in dieses Projekt involviert sind: Cevan, einer meiner liebsten und besten Freunde und -Wie in letzter Zeit fast immer- Leonard Leesch, ab heute offiziell mein Blogfotograf (Ja, der dem ich all die schönen Bilder aus der letzten Zeit verdanke J

I have announced that a third post about “Du bist die Mode- la mode cest vous!” will be published the up-coming days. Actually I had planned to publish it with the video of the runway show but that I think it will take some time until the video will be uploaded. But because I also want to describe in that post the way I felt on that way that’s why the post match perfectly with today. Well, how did I feel? For sure I have been excited!  We don’t have to deny it. Actually, I wasn’t excited as I arrived at Galeries Lafayette. I wasn’t excited at all as I was prepared by the amazing, cute and funny Make-up Artist Isabella, and also not as I got that fancy hairstyle (by the way the styling was directly inside of Galeries Lafyette- yes with the clients around us). The long waiting time I have spend with Marie and -yes!- we had fun for sure! I just got excited as we had to leave Galeries Lafayette and went into the “backstage area” which was only a little cordoned off part of Friedrichsstraße. Firstly the only thing I could feel was the coldness for which I went into the heated Leiser store opposite. As I had returned to the other ones 20 minutes before the show started I got excited by their excitement. But as I saw my friends and my family coming to see me I was just happy that there are people I can totally rely on that I have forgotten my excitement. And on the runway I was looking for my little sister who filmed me with her mobile phone. Those are things who really matters. One thing I am really excited about is my new project. I want you to be also a bit excited that’s why I am only disclosing that in my project my wonderful and cute friend Cevan and –like always in the last time- Leonard Leesch who became today officially my blog photographer (and yes he is the one I have to thank for all the amazing pictures at the last time)

Plans, silk scaves & an interview

Momentan raubt mir die Schule und der damit verbundene Stress leider Zeit, die ich viel lieber in meinen Blog investieren würde. Trotzdem habe ich momentan zwei Projekte am laufen ein kleineres über das ich euch demnächst informieren werde, und ein großes, das zwar erst in Planung ist, von dem ich aber überhaupt nicht warten kann euch zu erzählen! Gestern wurde auf Purplegory übrigens ein Interview von mir veröffentlicht, über mein Lieblingsaccessoire im Herbst. Das sind ganz klar wie letzten herbst und im Herbst davor- Seidentücher! Ich gehöre zu den Menschen, deren Immunsystem mit dem Berliner Winter wenig klarkommt und da ich Schals nicht so gerne mag, sind Seidentücher eben die elegante Alternative. Natürlich gibt es noch weitere Gründe, die ich für euch aufgezählt habe, dafür liest doch einfach das Interview. Auf diesen Fotos trage ich übrigens eine Bluse von Vila, die mir sehr gut gefällt und mich ein bisschen an Lana del Ray erinnert, deren Songs bei mir in den letzten Tagen in Dauerschleife laufen. Die Fotos hat mal wieder der talentierte Fotograf Leonard Leesch gemacht, von ihm werdet ihr in nächster Zeit noch mehr hören bzw. sehen. So und jetzt wünscht mir bitte alle Glück bei meiner LK-Klausur morgen!

School keeps on stealing the time I would like to invest in my blog. Nevertheless I work on  two projects right now, one I will introduce you the next time and the other one is still planned but I cant wait to start with it! The only thing I can say right now: I am pretty sure that it will be totally amazing! Yesterday an interview with me was published on purpleglory. I was asked about my favourite accessory in autumn which is like in the last autumn and the autumn beforehand: silk scarves! To now the reason why read that interview (there is an English translation). On the pictures I am wearing a transparent blouse from Vila which reminds me slightly on Lana del Ray who is currently my favourite singer. The photos were once again taken by the very talented Photograph Leonard Leesch from how you will hear or rather see more the next time. Now wish me luck for my advanced course exam tomorrow!

You don’t often see elegant outfits when scrolling through Berlin-based fashion blogs. Though, there are some bloggers with a sense of elegance, one of whom is Caroline from La dolce fashion vita. She often wears dresses and costumes, as well as an evening gown at Friedrichstraße. In an interview she told me about her favourite accessories for autumn and winter 2012.

I hate Autumn

Langsam, aber sicher wird es immer kälter in Berlin. Die Tage, an denen man die ganze Nacht draußen in Bars und Restaurants sitzen konnte, sind definitiv vorbei, wie ich gestern erfahren durfte. Bald werden auch noch die Blätter von den Bäumen fallen, es wird um 16 Uhr dunkel werden und die Kälte wird einen jede Motivation nehmen das Haus zu verlassen. Eigentlich habe ich überhaupt keine Lust ein Herbstoutfit zu posten weil es für mich ein weiteres Zeichen für das Ende des Sommers ist. Da es  aber für dünne Kleidchen es zu kalt geworden ist, trage ich einen Rock mit Zebramuster, den ich in den Sommerferien im Mauerpark gekauft habe, ein sehr altes Oberteil von Orsay, schwarze Wedges von Jeffrey Campbell und einen Taillengürtel von Itchy’s. 

I have notice how the weather had changed the last days. Day by day it gets colder and colder. Autumn has arrived in Berlin. Whoa! The time we can sit outside the restaurants and bars the whole night long are unmistakably over (I have just experienced that last night). I hate to say it, because it makes the sad fact of the weather change undeniably official for me, but it is time for my first autumn outfit. This time I am wearing a skirt with zebra pattern I have bought at Mauerpark, a very old pullover I have bought a few years ago at Orsay’s, black wedges from Jeffrey Campbell and a waist belt of Itchy’s. But even if I like the outfit that doesn’t mean that I am looking just slightly forward to autumn!

La mode c' est vous #2 the runway looks

Nachdem ich euch gestern kurz und spontan meine ersten Eindrücke von dem Event gezeigt habe, kommen jetzt ein paar Bilder von den Laufstegoutfits, die Lois netterweise für mich gemacht hat. Eigentlich war „La mode c’ est vous!“ als eine Street style Aktion gedacht, dass mein Outfit alles andere als Streetstyle war, müsste euch schon aufgefallen sein. Aber wie bereits gesagt, außer Spaß war meine zweite Motivation bei „La Mode c’ est vous“ mitzumachen, eben dieses Kleid, für das ich, seitdem ich es besitze, eine Gelegenheit suche, es anziehen zu können. Aber die anderen hatten alle sehr schöne Streetstyle outfits, die ich euch jetzt zeige. Ps: Es wird noch einen dritten und letzten Post von La mode c est vous geben, in dem ich beschreibe, wie das alles genau abgelaufen ist und wie es so war über den Laufsteg zu laufen ;)

So dears after I have shown you yesterday my first impressions of the event I will go to show you some of the runway looks my friend Lois photographed there for me. Actually La mode cest vous! Was planned to be a street style action my outfit wasn’t street style at all. But since Karin gave that amazing dress I am looking for an event to wear it so I thought well, fuck street style that’s my chance to wear my baby! But it doesn’t matter anyway because there were o many amazing street styles. Ps: There will be a third and last post about La mode c est vous, in which I will describe how it was to walk over the catwalk and how it all had happened J
