Typically vintage?!

 In Freiburg hörte ich zum ersten Mal das ich einem typischen Berlin Look hätte. Ich habe das reflexiv abgestritten, nicht weil ich es schlimm finde Berlin typisch auszusehen, sondern weil mir das noch nie jemand gesagt hat und ich eigentlich der Meinung bin, dass es unter 3.5 Mio. Menschen keinen typischen Look geben kann. Darauf wurde mir entgegnet, doch diesen leicht extravagante vintage style gäbe es schon vor 20 Jahren als sie dort gelebt hätte. Was ich nicht beurteilen konnte, aber ich wusste was sie meint: Den Mauerpark Look mit leichter Hipstertendenz, den viele vor allem von außerhalb wirklich als typisch Berlin sehen. Ich liebe es in Flohmärkten und Secondhand Shops zu stöbern, bin aber eher auf der Suche nach klassischer, elegantere Kleidung, die man dort auch gut finden kann. Wie beispielsweise dieses Outfit, das zwar sehr vintage, aber trotzdem elegant ist. Die Dior Tasche ist mehr als vintage, meine Oma hat sie sich mit 18 mit ihrem ersten selbstverdienten Geld gekauft und mir geschenkt was ich so süß finde das ich es jedes Mal schreibe wenn ich die Handtasche poste.Das Oberteil ist einmal ein unikates Kleid von Boss Orange gewesen, jedenfalls bis es zuviel Zeit in der Waschmaschine verbracht hat. Der Rock ist ebenfalls von meiner Oma, die Schuhe von Fendi, eigentlich ist nur die Tigerbrosche aus dem Mauerpark.

In Freiburg I have heard the very first time that my style looks so typically Berlin. Firstly I denied it because I think 3.5 mio people don’t have a typical style. I was answered yes you do have that Berlin vintage style which is a bit alternative it’s the same kind of style people in Berlin wore 20 years ago.  That’s what I can’t assess but I knew what she meant. She was talking about this like flea market look which is slightly hipster like. I love browsing through flea market but I am looking for things which are elegant, timeless and vintage, just like this outfit. The Dior bag is more than just vintage my grandmother bought it at the age of 18 with her first self earned money which is so cute that I am writing it every time I post the bag. The T-shirt had been a unique dress from Boss Orange until it spent too much time in the washing machine. The shoes are from Fendi, the skirt is from my Grandmother only the brooch is really vintage from a flea market.
