Gestern war ich auf der Premium Young Talents show case in den Galeries Lafayette. Das Event war -sehr nett ausgedrückt- unspektakulär. Angesehen von Weinschorle, wenig Platz und stickiger Luft gab es dort nichts. In einer zweiminütigen Rede wurde uns überhaupt keine Vorstellung davon vermittelt, was jetzt der Sinn dieses Abends sei. Es wurden keine Designer vorgestellt (die eine Rednerin sagte einmal: Anna-Katharina usw. wir sind so stolz auf euch! ) und die restliche Zeit konnten wir herumstehen. Den Abend rettete die Anwesenheit von meinen lieben Bloggerinnen Carina, Lisa, Lois, Carlinka und Sophie. Ich finde es wirklich lächerlich für so was auch noch eine Gästeliste und dieses ganze “by invitation only“ tralala zu machen, wenn man sich für seine öffentlichen Events mehr Mühe gibt. Geliebte Galeries Lafayette, ihr habt mich enttäuscht!
Do you know those events where they tell you something of that “by
invitation only” shit and then you come there and there is just nothing? A room
which is full of people, drinking champagne waiting for something to happen?
Yes that was how the event of Premium Young Star was. I have heard before that
it should be boring but I didn’t believe it because it was at Galeries
Lafayette and sponsored by MCM and Premium. But except of a two minutes speech
nothing happened. They didn’t introduced there designers (okay they said one
time something like “Anna-Katharina we are so proud of!” and showed us a little
publicity movie. Thanks god me lovely blogger friends Lisa, Lois, Carina,
Carlinka and Sophie were also there. Don’t
understand me wrong I am not spoiled but I think it is just ridiculous to do a guest
list for some “exclusive event” if you take more care on your public events.
